cross town traffic

so far today has been a pretty good day.

i woke up at 9:30. surprisingly enough... that's an accomplishment in of itself, considering that on my days off, i don't really roll out of bed until around 11.
so alright!
i went into princeton to do some christmas shopping. i went into a few stores, but only got stuff for one person on my list. a few days ago i went into mandalay, and when i walked in i thought "wow, they have some pretty cool stuff" and i really thought it was the type of place where i'd get something for my mom, but i didn't. i think it's cause today i really had time to look around and see that there wasn't anything that really made me think "mom."
oh well.
so far i've got jasmine done... aaaand. that's it.
i went to the mall after to look around for the mom and pop. but no luck.
i have such a hard time deciding cause i'm always afraid people wont like what i pick.
i ended up buying myself a scarf and some other stuff i needed. :( i felt guilty after that.

i have a serious guilt complex.
i think i'm too nice.

anyway.
tommy is the only other person i've bought something for. but he's not done yet.
;)

so. it's 7:30.
i ate way too much and now i don't feel so well.
last week i made a promise to myself to encorporate some kind of exercise into my daily routine.
luckily for other people, promises to myself are the only ones i break...
but i guess in this case, it's not so lucky for people who have to look at me.
bah!
so. tonight tommy and i were sopposed to go to NY for the tree lighting, but we decided against that.
it was sopposed to rain tonight...
blasted meteorologists!
but other than that, we decided that the crowds would be really annoying. plus getting there ontime would have been a feat, not to mention getting home at a decent hour.
i sound like an 80 year old.
cause we all know i have to be home by 9 to have ny sleepytime tea and get into bed.

i smell sausage.
i despise sausage.

so anyway. as nice as it would have been to go, we're going to see the tree another time this week.

so i am leaving to buy book number 2 of the "erin and jacky" notebook collection.
and tom will be here around 9.

aaaaaaaand i can't stop smiling.
