and i've just finished my powerpoint presentation for child SIKE!
i mean... psych.
so now that the powerpoint crap is done, all i have to do is write the paper and that will be a BREEZE.
and i have work tomorrow at deux so i can spit that out before then. AND i'm free tomorrow night so i can finish it up after work too.
but tonight, TONIGHT my friends, is a tommy night.
we're gonna exchange steak. after dinner.

anyway. my hands are hot. from this damned wacom tablet and all this typing i've been doing.
powerpoint knocked my computer on it's ass about 5 times while i was trying to get my shit done. that's part of the reason it took me 4 hours to do it. also because i was searching for pictures of little kids being goofy so i could include them in the presentation. i got some great ones of kids from like, the 70's making goofy faces and being bad. it's an ADHD paper so they fit right in.
BAH!

so on friday i thought, man, stuff sucks. and then saturday i was in a pretty foul mood - until i saw my niece and nephew. i walked in the house from what might have been the longest day of the flower station EVER, and gianna ran to me and hugged me and i melted. bad mood gone, instantly.
babies, man. what an effect.

so now i'm like, problems? what problems?

i am currently enrolled at FIT for the summer program. art in NY and painting will be mine! i will defeat them! like i defeat all my other classes.
so i went to register last wednesday and i got all nostalgic. i kinda miss the city - that cesspool that it is.
i was all done with my stuff - meeting with the registrar, registering and paying tuition and i thought, gee i don't wanna leave, i kinda like being back. ::sigh::
so that's good. cause if i were still in my hating manhattan phase, i'd really be dreading summer classes. but they only go for a month. then in the fall i'm done. one more art history, and a philosophy class - at FIT one day per week. couldn't be easier.
4:22 and i have about 1 hour before i have to leave for class. 2 1/2 more weeks, 5 of each class, and my ass is waving goodbye to county college.
i have only been there for one semester and i despise it. but it was better than commuting to FIT for the winter months.

i ordered a bikini from VS online and the bitches still haven't sent me the top. it was on backorder for a while. and here i sit, awaiting it's arrival. i couldn't be more eager for summer and bathing suit rights.
let's hear it for allergies! i've bee sniffling and waking up with a sore throat for two weeks already. my nose is all dry and i'm kleenex's #1 customer.
but anyway, i'm excited about a summer with tommy :)
mmm frisbee! and picnics! and park time! and nap time! and beach! and swimming! and trips! and oh my, what fun.
and summer at the flower station means my quaint job as a florist will finally be quaint again.
