whoopsie daisy

i kinda crapped out on that last post.

i got really bored out of nowhere and i left.

so where was i?

well let's start from the begining

once upon april 5th, an erin brought a tommy to hoboken to see two spectacular musical performances.
ahem. yeah so i brought tommy to see decibully and owen on tuesday. it was a surprise and i'm not that great with surprises so i was pretty excited when i was able to hide who it was that we were actually seeing until owen was on stage. and he said hey! thats owen! and his eyes lit up! and he loved it! and that's JUST what i was going for! but then the decibully surprise was ruined when he announced they were next. but that's alright - i was expecting that.
so i burned "sing out america" from tom a few weeks ago and i've listened to it and enjoyed it but seeing them live was an entirely different story. there are very few bands who's performances i'm blown away by and decibully is up there with them. i've really only raved about two shows - when i saw Before Braille and Cursive. the point is, if you like them even a tiny bit, and you have the chance to see them, GO. you'll LOVE them after.
so that was a great day. the weather was awesome so that made it even better. i got yet another "frank rizzo" comment from the nerd at the door - so now i can chalk that list up to a nice round 4,268 times that i've heard it - or some variation thereof. but i guess it comes with the territory of having that last name. the best i've ever heard was when i booked 5 tickets for the upright citizens brigade and the guy taking my reservations on the phone said "rizzo? for 5? what, are you bringing the rest of the pink ladies with you?" HA. funny, but i really don't appreciate the Grease remarks. that movie should be wiped from existence. i will not tolerate the association!

so. that brings us to wednesday.
i went to class in the morning, came home and watched the G monster for about two hours. dina came to pick her up and before they even left i was passed out, asleep on the living room couch. i was completely wiped out. i'd only grossed about 7 hours sleep in the two preceeding nights. so i slept till around 3ish, showered and went to italian class. went to tommy's after. we thought "hey it's really nice outside, let's go to the beach for a bit, and then go to the inkwell." right. the beach. i think we stood there for a total of 2 minutes before we decided it was not too bright of an idea since we were both pretty cold. (me more than tommy) so we just went to the inkwell.
and that was wednesday.

next up: thursday
thursday was lovely :) i woke up at a pretty decent time. surprisingly since there's no one around to wake me up lately. i had all these big plans to get my oil changed, go pay some bills, go to the food store and bring my car in to see what the screaming noise was from. and i planned to do this all before tom came over. BAH! instead i cleaned the house and got ready and by the time i was done it was 2:30 and tom was already over from his interview. so i already wrote about this yesterday. oil change, mall, auto place, and then cheesecake factory. yum. me and food, man, we're like this X and that meas tight. food and i have a strong bond. anyway. then we came home, laid around, listened to some music and watched freaks and geeks for the rest of the night. during which - surprise! i fell asleep! go figure.

FRIDAY. F-R-I-D-A-Y FRIDAY
tommy's first day at verizon. and he didn't like it all that much, but baby i swear you'd hate vonage WAY more!!!
anyway. i worked yesterday from 9-3. it was a pretty painless shift for the most part. tommy got out at 6:30 so i went over around 7:30. we went to the court jesterd for dinner, during which i got really ansy (sp?) and crampy (you know you wanted to hear it!) so when we got back i popped two alieve and we settled back for some more freaks and geeks. i am quite sad because we are coming to the end of the season. only 2 more episodes to watch. boooo.

and now here i am on saturday. thanks to my co-worker Amy, i have this lovely afternoon off. thank you amy!
so it's 4:49 and i'm showered but not primped. dressed but not presentable. what has your dear narrator done for the bulk of her day? cleaned her room. that's right. like a 10 year old. i've been stuck cleaning my room since 12. i had buttloads of laundry to do, and shit to get rid of and put away. so i've done it. pretty much. i switched out my summer clothes and packed away my sweaters and cold-weather clothes because i'm sick of looking at them. so this involved emptying out my drawers and trying to organize. took me forever. separate laundry, organize shoes, vaccuum, dust, wash sheets, replace sheets, purge and purify the sleeping space!!!
and i want to vomit knowing how nice it is outside since i've been inside all day. called freedman auto. they drove and drove and drove my car (so they say) and they heard nothing. yeah well. so they closed about two hours ago so i have to go pick up the ol saturnbaby when tommy gets here cause i have no one else to bring me. he doesn't know this yet.
and what will we do tonight?! the suspense is killing me! if tom doesn't protest to it, i have to get to the food store since i haven't been yet.
hot date at the super stop and shop. steamy. can you handle it? hehe.

4:57 and i still look like a truck ran over and backed over my face so i need to get to that.

i think today will start a weather log.
the weather and i have had this ongoing war since i can remember.
i've been threatening to move out of this area if it doesn't shape up.

today: 65 and sunny.

and now i'm off.
ta!
