in two hours i will have a tommy in my hands, at my waist, on my lips...

and i think it'll just be me. cause tommy i don't think has the time to do the dressing thing.

so today i tried marking in th epattern for my skirt on the actual fabric and i said PSHH! shits too shifty and slippery and silky. annnnnd it's silk, sooooo that explains it.
anyway. i had to start over in muslin. damned muslin! smells like syrup. especially when you iron it.
so anyway. it's ok cause now it will come out better. i've got the front draped. now i just need the back and the waistband. i guess i'll be looking for waistband fabric on tuesday when i go with angela to ny.
now that my class is over, i find myself wanting to be in the city more. God there was a time when i would have left ny and never cared about going back. but now i miss it. :(
