i'm back

oh, well hello there blogger. decided not to be a jerk anymore? got tired of fucking around with me and never loading my pages? good. now we can get back to this blog business.
thank you.

i've become tired of xanga. truth is, xanga sucks. it doesn't allow comments from non-users annnnnd... that's pretty much it.
but i did know how to customize it and i havent really delved into that on blogger. i never felt ambitious enough. maybe i will try that out when i have some time.

thought: you never really realize the difference a wheely computer chair makes until you try to sit on a folding chair at a computer and your ass goes completely numb. aaah i love you black cushy computer chair.

i am in my basement. we just recently got new carpet put in down here and are re vamping the place. it's looking good. but the best part is that i love the smell of new carpet. i could sit on the steps with my nose in it for hours.

what to say?
my portfolio is coming along nicely. i finally started it and now i am pretty excited about finishing up. maybe i'll post some pictures of it in pieces. that would be amusing. or maybe i wont cause i don't want you cretins stealing any of my layout ideas. jerks.

so tomorow is Easter. i guess i like Easter well enough. another one of those holidays where you sit around with family stuffing your face until you can't move. but that's ok. and while all you lucky ducks get to sleep in and relax all morning, my co workers and i will be serving the "flower needy" of princeton. they are needy and helpless, clueless and dim witted - and angela, alex and i are there to help them sort out all of their flower and plant quandries.
many MANY hard, pressing questions like:

customer: "do you have any potted orchids?"
me: "no sorry, only some silk ones. but we do have cut stems of orchids if you're interested in those."
customer: "ohh, yeah i really wanted a plant... hmm... so would i be able to plant these cut orchid stems? will they root and grow?"
me: "no. it's a cut flower. putting it in dirt wouldn't do anything." (not to mention the less obvious fact that orchids don't grow in dirt, even when they are planted."

note: this is not the first time i've been asked such a mindless question. i've had three separate instances where people want to know if they can "stick it in dirt."
sure. stick it in dirt. hell, stick your head in dirt! see what happens.
scary part? i am 99.9% sure that the, now 4, people who have had that question were princeton students.
so, what's the entrance requirement of princeton hopefuls - a color by numbers picture of a whale or something?

hm. the future looks dim.

i search for a new wallet.
one that is long, with many card slots, and perhaps even a checkbook spot! does this wallet exist?
i am not looking for a fancy wallet. preferrably something more unique.

it's 6:10. i am going to get ready for church. then after that i'm hanging out with Lucette :) which i am excited about. we barely get to hang out cause we're both so busy all of the time. Lucette more so than i am.
so i'm off.

happy to be back on blogger.
